Someone ranting about their cat

Without wanting to upset Kate Crawford, please find substituted for a real blog post the following video of MY CAT IN A TREE.



I bought a new gadget (an N93i mobile phone) on the weekend*, and of course I've been using its enhanced video features to, well, film the cat. (Oddly enough, YouTube's encoding mechanism doesn't seem to like .mp4 format very much, so although on the computer the mobile phone video looks much better than videos taken with my normal camera (such as all the videos previously posted here), the version above - after being processed by YouTube - looks considerably worse. I have no idea why, but I'm certainly not uploading it again.)

In not entirely unrelated news, I've had better weeks; but since this blog is really no longer a personal one (tough combining those with politics, isn't it?) I won't discuss here why. I will, however, claim implausibly that the slacking off WILL END and there'll be some good** posts soon.

* I've given up waiting for the glorious N95, which seems to have been pushed back in Australia to May.
** Well, "better".
