Lame attempt by The Age to justify cute footage

How pathetic. Where's the subtlety? The Age runs a flimsy story about it being cold transparently in order to justify running a cute photograph of meercats shivering together at Werribee Zoo.

For goodness sake. How low can you sink?

Incidentally, that reminds me about some cute footage I took of my cat last evening, sleepily kneading her blanket. I enclose it here purely to illustrate the sort of thing that you'd never find posted here after some kind of lamely obvious attempt to excuse it:


Imagine if Werribee had given the meerkats a blanket.
