Changing the bed is not exactly one of my favourite tasks. Fortunately, the cat was willing to give me a hand.

What a relief. Polly's already in there dealing with the problem.
And sure enough, when she popped out the other end, the lump was gone!

ps They finally uploaded Polly to KittenWar, although not with the favoured photo. She's sitting on 52% at the moment. ONLY 52%? I feel an onset of angry pushy parent syndrome. IS THAT REALLY THE BEST YOU CAN DO?! LOOK CUTER, DAMN YOU!
UPDATE 9/8: Well, Polly photo #1 above remains on a remarkably stable 52%, but kitten war has finally uploaded the upside down photo, and in it Polly's sitting on 59%. Better, but maybe it will be necessary to resort to the tiny kitten photos for the fat middle-aged administrative assistant kittenwar-visiting women of America to fully appreciate her cuteness.
