Some more words to get this blog banned by the new filter

According to News Ltd, "The Australian Sex Party" will be launching this week, with a platform that includes:
...a national sex education curriculum, reducing censorship, abolishing the government's proposed internet filter and supporting gay marriage.

That's an interesting (and entirely positive) set of policies, actually. Not only that, but they'd have wide appeal - I can see your average Zoo reader being fully in favour of the first three planks, although he might be scared off by the fourth... even though the principle is the same for all - government out of our (consenting) bedrooms - I'm sadly aware that there are plenty of people whose attitude is "protect my own rights and bugger anyone else's" (not literally, they'd be at pains to clarify).

I'm also not sure how you could allocate your vote to a party purely on sex issues without considering the other matters on which they'd legislate, and would point out that all the above positions are ones held by the Australian Greens already, but I guess it's always good to have more organisations working to counter the insidious influence on our lives of authoritarian-minded nutters like Fundies First.

Just don't try googling the new group's name at work. Or once Conroy's filter has come online.*

*Don't worry, you won't be able to.
